Chi Fun Wong considers himself a "designist" - a hybrid of designer and artist. He is rooted
in design thinking, but also fascinated by the abstract notion of art. His paintings are simple, graphic and conceptual. They are the result of accumulated ideas and feelings from his observations from daily life, lying somewhere between the logical and the senseless.

In 2023, Wong began a new series of paintings of graphic loops, playing on the
idea that we are all caught on a path that we don't fully understand. In this new body of work, he seeks to capture the cyclical nature of life and the interconnectedness of things.
