Brown-Kossi, Ghislain
Ghislain Brown-Kossi is a French-born, Vancouver-based visual artist whose work explores cultural heritage, symbolism, and belonging through the language of form and material. Drawing from African visual traditions, archaeology, and contemporary design, his practice bridges identities and histories across continents. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and was recently recognized by the Salt Spring National Art Prize (2025) and acquired by the TD Bank Art Collection. In 2026, he will present a solo exhibition at CAVA (Edmonton) and undertake a three-month residency at Fonderie Darling (Montreal).
