Lives in Vancouver, BC
Kevin Boyle is a Vancouver based photographer who is captivated by beauty in desolation and that no matter how hard we try to fight it, time is unrelenting and inescapable. Manipulating time and light through the lens of his camera, Boyle captures impossible moments that cannot exist anywhere except in the final image. He challenges the viewer to change their perception and see beyond what the initial image shows them. In his Range, DaySleeper and HERD series, he examines the idea of what society has deemed worthwhile and worthless, as well as the influence of technology and popular culture on our decisions.
