Art Rental & Sales at the Vancouver Art Gallery is pleased to present a show of new work by AR&S Featured Artist Mary-Jean Butler

Mary-Jean Butler’s oil paintings reflect the rugged landscape of British Columbia’s mountains and coastline. Her artist studio is situated amongst the trees, cliffs and water shown in the landscapes she paints. Her objective is to shift the focus from the broader landscape, exploring the subtleties that arise within small croppings, details, and shifts between light and seasonal changes.
